3/20/2026 - Been A While

I'm alive!

This has been a crazy fall and winter, and I have finally had the urge to come back here and post something. My internship is about to end, we've only got 5 days left. You know, it's been a great experience, but a lot of shit has pissed me off here. It was the best possible internship I could've gotten, so I am truly happy I'm here, but alas, once you're in a workplace for 6 months, shit starts to piss you off. I am excited to go back to classes.

I'm trying to think of everything that has happened since I last made a journal entry, and it is difficult to remember. Honestly... not much has happened. I have definitely been reevaluating where I want my life to go after graduation, and it is stressing me out quite a bit. I would love to do law school yes, but that was always my second choice. Getting this internship has proven to me that a game design career might still be achievable for me. That being said, we are all aware of how atrocious the job market is, and I am scared to graduate. I would love to go to grad school as well, but I'm not sure for what degree. And I also want to go back to Berlin. My god, I want to do so many things with my life! There is simply not enough time.

In terms of boring stuff, I finally watched both Bojack Horseman and Fleabag, which I had been putting off for a while. And holy christ dude. Talk about depressing. Both great shows though, I can't recommend them enough! I've also started working on developing my own game. I've had a streak of inspiration and have 3d modeled hella shit for the game, and it is coming together shockingly quickly. It's sort of a narrative-based walking sim, nothing too heavy on the gameplay.

I mean that appears to be all I have for today, at least all that I can talk about for now. Some things are in development, we will see if things swing in my favor in a few weeks here. Warmth is coming, just gotta survive until summer, then we are golden!
